About

Aimee Daniel is a Landscape Designer based in Plano, TX. She has a 5 year professional Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Texas at Austin. During her time at UT, Aimee interned for The Garden Design Studio (Formerly ‘Gardens’) in Austin, TX. Aimee began her career as an intern for Pelli Clark Pelli as an Architectural Designer. She interned for the company for 6 months in Tokyo, Japan and traveled throughout Japan and China in the study of Built Architecture. Following graduation she worked in New Haven Connecticut at Pelli Clarke Pelli for 2 years. During her time there she worked on many high profile projects such as the Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, CA and the Coop High School of Arts and Humanities in New Haven, CT.

In 2008 Aimee moved back to the Dallas area to be near family and friends where she grew up in Coppell, TX. She reconnected with The Garden Design Studio to help build presence in the Dallas area including Design, Build, Install and Garden Management. In 2000 Aimee began work with Southern Botanical where she designed projects up to $1 million in value. She collaborated and gained experience in estimating, budgeting and the design process as it relates to installation management. In 2015 Aimee worked for Studio Outside for a brief time before taking time off to start her family. During her time with Studio Outside she was Project Leader for projects such as The Atelier rooftop garden in downtown Dallas, adjacent to the Nasher Sculpture Garden, and other Retail Mixed Use Commercial Projects.

In the fall of 2015, Aimee went out on her own to begin Aimee Daniel Landscape Design with the help of a team of drafters and partnership with landscape installers and builders. The majority of work has originated from word of mouth referral, one of the highest compliments a client can offer. Recently, since 2023, Aimee has been able to grow her business and partner with new Architects and Builders to take on higher end and larger Residential Design projects in the Dallas area.
